Thanks for the pointer, I didn't know that. But I believe that's not an approach Jolla can officially endorse as it bypasses the Google terms. Also, what if I'm opening a link while browsing in Firefox?

You could also try to set your default youtube video player to "HTML5". Visit https://www.youtube.com/html5 and click "Request HTML5 video player". This worked for me today.
